A. Fawcett Precision Engineers was originally founded by David Peaker in 1983 and registered under the name of A. Fawcett Toolmakers (1983) Ltd. The Company was named after Arthur Fawcett who had subsequently sold the business to Mr Peaker.

The business began to grow and in 1987 acquired a much larger purpose built factory in Elland near Halifax. This ideally based new factory provided a high quality working environment and sufficent space to continue further expansion without compromising quality of service.

In 2008 Mr Peaker decided to retire after his daughter Joanne Thompson who had worked alongside her father for 13 years and Barry Sugden who had worked for the business for 23 years acquired the shareholding and were appointed Directors.
